In effort to share more about myself I want to give a run down on my business and my background which I’ve shared with many clients:
I’ve been inspecting homes for about 7 years now and have been doing engineering for 14 years. I have a full-time engineering job in addition to a nearly full-time inspection business… I inspect on vacation time, weekends, and some evenings if early enough in the summer.
I have modern web-based reports (sample here) including tools for agents to clip sections they want to send to the seller. I do not to septic inspections but do everything else including wood destroying insect inspections, radon tests, water purity tests, and pre-listing inspections. I get on roofs whenever possible which most clients and agents appreciate. I use various meters including Carbon Monoxide meter for reading for furnaces and boilers, and a moisture meter on walls and roof decking. The main comfort I bring to clients is the additional credentials of a licensed engineer, bringing the same mindset of rigor and consistency used in engineering, to home inspections. And I’m also very calm and thorough with clients, explaining the whole process including what this whole process is all about. Reviews available on Google, Facebook, and Yelp.
Hope this helps you understand my background and the differentiators I bring to the inspection world!
